Start down that trail and you might slide all the way to the bottoms. It does carry my eyes from bottom to top. Is this a high hill/mountain? Funny there are no trees on top.

Hi Kathy in answer to your question this was a fairly high stony cragg where not much grows as there is more stone than soil, it probably wouldn't be climbed as it wasn't so tall but you get an idea of the size from the trees growing around the base, maybe 120ft or so. It just looked nice against the sky.
If you put a search in for Lake District you will get a better idea of what this beautiful place look like, I have only touched on its beauty, it gets many tourists but still manages to keep its peaceful beauty.
