Fish and Chips alfresco, Redcar style!! by craftymeg

Fish and Chips alfresco, Redcar style!!

This family came and sat in front of us and I couldn't resist this shot as they all sat in a line on the seafront wall, enjoying their meal.
Its one from the other day, hospital day today, had my injections and an epidural, so feel as if I have a hangover a few hours on. Please forgive the sparse comments, I'll be fine tomorrow!! :-)

Thank you for all your wonderful comments and favs, it cheers me up no end!!:-))
Lovely capture Margaret.

Great shot! Love the windmills in the water. Not sure if the boys are happy with their meals. The older child looks like he is complaint and the younger one looks like what is this stuff? I bet dad sat in the middle to keep the boys apart?

This is a great candid shot & an instant fav.
Hope you are feeling back to normal very soon too.

A wonderful spot for a snack!

Those windmills look as though they are suspended from the sky, quite surreal. Love the way they are sitting as if they're on a train although pretty practical when you think about it! Hope you feel better soon Margaret.

Great candid shot. If they sit in front of you they are fair game for a photo opportunity.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

The windmills make for such an interesting backdrop to the sandy beach and picnic. And it is a fun candid the way they have positioned themselves.

Those windmills fascinate me - and love the expression on that first boy - nice of them to color coordinate for your shot.

Nicely captured - I like the wind turbines in the background too - Our prime minister thinks they are uglier than open-cast coal mines, but I think they're pretty spectacular and make a great backdrop.

With the boy in front kneeling, I thought they were absorbed in prayer before I saw the meals. The windmills seem to mar the beauty of the vista. Some years ago our government came out with building a windfarm out at sea but it wasn't welcomed by the population.

love this, each in their own little world. They almost seem to reflect the wind turbines.
Well spotted.
