Solitude by craftymeg

Solitude

The scene yesterday, it was a filthy day, grey wet and miserable. This is the view that met us yesterday when we went out for some fresh air, a real winter scene. Temps were about 4-5c but bitterly cold. On the bright side everyone wanting a bit of cheer in these dreary days have put trees and lights up, I’ve never seen as many houses decked out as they are now, our street needs to give sunglasses to be worn warnings!!
Best on black

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.

The person in this scene gives perspective to how big these wind turbines really are. Glad that folks are decorating for the holidays. Makes being at home a bit more festive.

I do so dislike those wind turbines but I love the way they dwarf the figure.

This is a super shot, with the solitary walker emphasising the scale of those wind turbines. I'm not a fan of wind turbines, but I prefer them at sea rather than spoiling our landscape.

Great shot of the wind turbines at sea. Here in the desert, they are set in the sand dunes.
