My right shoulder replacement is only 18 weeks down the line so handwriting and control is still not what I would like but it’s getting there slowly. I have just got some glass pens and inks which are a steep learning curve but on first try I am impressed with the amount of ink that is held on one dip and how easy the pen is to clean. This is a genuine first go photo, although it’s not flexible you can draw as well as write and no ink blots!! Only downside they break!

Thank you for all your lovely comments and favs all are appreciated and welcome.
I learn something all the time here on 365. I never heard of these pens before so of course I had to go look them up. You must feel very elegant using this pen.
Amazing - I have never heard if glass ink pens - shall have to look them up - Such an elegant tool - love the little pen stand too . Nice to see the shoulder behaving quite well !
This looks like a wonderful project. I hope you don't break too many pens! Funny but we made a quill pen from a feather for our grandson to try recently. We got out the bottle of Quink ink and he had a go. It's not easy and doesn't hold the ink for very long, but he managed to write a message to his family.
Your shoulder replacement is doing very well from what I see here. You have a nice handwriting. I used to and used to be proud of it, my writing is in scribbles since before the computer was invented as I used to scribble my writing while my typist did the job setting it right on the typewriter. I always wondered how she managed to understand what I wrote since even I sometimes couldn't read my own handwriting.
