The Marion vineyard is the oldest suburban vineyard in Australia. It was first planted in 1907. Threatened by housing development in the 1970's it was rescued and now as a heritage vineyard it produces a unique, limited edition Grenache Shiraz

thanks everyone for your nice comments. I have never seen dried grapes on the vine before either. Should have tasted one
