in many places in Australia, people have been knitting, crocheting and sewing poppies to be used in displays to commemorate the 100 Anniversary of ANZAC. I knitted some to add to the display in our local library

I had never heard of ANZAC until I saw a TV dramatization about the Australian nurses in WWI. Truly moving.
