way behind with posting as I've been spending lots of time on my scrapbooking projects. This is one of my favourite scrapbooking stores. Quite dangerous for the credit card!
I have noticed how popular scrap booking is in the Southern Hemisphere Chris........you can make some lovely books if you have the patience which I definitely have not but all power to your hands for doing something special.
...and before scrapbooking there was the Rubber Stamp Phenomenon for making cards & exchanges...and I was there! I'd take 10 cents on the dollar for what I gathered up at that time and could afford to fly down to join you in the marvelous store! I backed off when scrapbooking came along...I'd spent all my money! All this is to say, "I so TOTALLY get it!" Have a ball! I know the fun it can be!
@seattlite sure is Gloria and I never come out empty handed
@happypat thanks Pat. I have been scrapping for 15 years now! wont ever have enough time to finish all the projects I have in mind
@Weezilou dont talk to me about my stash of stamps and punches etc. never like to add up how much my passion has cost me but I love every minute of it and hope my grandkids will enjoy their albums one day.
@thistle even just looking at all the paper is fun
@pyrrhula thankyou. would like to have got more into the shot.
@pennystot it sure is fun Penelope. Especially when i get together with friends once a fortnight although a lot of our time is spent talking :)
Awesome! I *made* Ken look at your photo and let me read him our exchanges. He *needed* to know there were a lot of us out there!!! I forgot about ALL THE PAPER! I still adore paper...what is it about that?! (I could still start my own store!)
@Weezilou i love your comment about the paper. I have to force myself to use some of it! how silly is that when I am putting it into a scrapbook for posterity anyway. Sometimes I just look through my huge stash for pleasure. (would love to see your "stuff")
@cruiser We'll be back in CA next week... I should be "ashamed" of all I have in my "ha-ha Art Room" but maybe it's time to make a collage of just a wee bit of it... If I do so, I'll send you the link... ...just thinking about it all makes me look forward to walking into that room again! And I so completely understand the emotional strings attached to those sheets of gorgeous paper! Thank you for sharing all thins and making me feel better about myself!
