I took this in North Adelaide looking towards the city. On the left (east) they were having a massive electrical storm with hail coming down like snow and on the right (west) there was bright sunshine. All within a few kilometres
Love the composition and the contrast in the weather!! Once we had it pouring rain in the back of our house, in our back yard and not a drop on the front side of the house in the front yard!! Like someone pulled a curtain!!! This is beautiful and love the shapes of the clouds and the sunshine and the beautiful garden!! FAV!
The other day my son phoned me up while I was in Sliema to check whether we were safe as a very heavy rainfall was taking place. I live barely 100 metres from where he does and on my return home I saw that everywhere was dry. Love this shot - very atmospheric.

wow! thanks for putting this on the PP. When I first took this pic I was disappointed and then surprised when looked at it on my computer. I was driving home across the city from a session with my lovely Chinese accupuncturist. Being in a different part of town I was on the lookout for new things to photograph and as I saw these magnificent clouds I knew I had found my pic for the day. It seems the weather is becoming more extreme all over the world.
