Beautiful summer image. I do not go to the sandy beaches here - they are always overflowing with people. I prefer the rocky beach in my area where you can have a bit of space for yourself.
So bright, cheery and inviting. Funny how here in the States we're donning sweaters and scarfs and snuggling up to a warm drink while you're heading to the beach.
@Weezilou it is beautiful. Only 20 minutes from our home which is in the hills above Adelaide. They call Adelaide "the 20 minute city" because it is so easy to get around. Where in Australia does your friend live.
@cruiser Enid lives in Moruya, south of Sydney. She says that when she arrives, the flight down the coast from Sydney takes 45 minutes. We've been there to visit; it's not very big, so I don't know if it's known to many (but what do I know?!)
@olivetreeann I dont mind a bit of Winter but very gad to see Summer again when she comes round. Our beaches here are beautiful and dont get too crowded
@cruiser So, where is "here" Chris? Are you heading into summer now? Tonight we're expected to get our first frost. I live on the eastern side of the state of Pennsylvania.
@olivetreeann we live in Adelaide, South Australia and we have a Mediterranean climate with cold wet winters and very dry hot summers. I am looking forward to some warm weather. One thing I love about 365 is seeing where other people live.
