'Icy Creamy' by cruiser

'Icy Creamy'

From June till September, 21 decorated life size elephants brightened the streets of Calais, France. These parades have taken place in many countries to raise awareness of Elephant conservation. Some elephants even came from other parades in Milan, U.K. and Hong Kong
(not up to date with downloading my current photos so using one of my holiday photos)
I love the animals such as this! This is my first "elephant", though the first I ever saw were "Cows" in Chicago and versions of "Mickey Mouse" in Los Angeles.

thanks for your lovely comments. If I had spent more time in Calais I would have tried to find all the elephants. Certainly a fun way to draw attention to the need for protecting these wonderful animals.
