weather direct from Antarctica today only 5C at lunchtime. we had huge thunderstorms and then an even bigger hailstorm where the hailstones lay on the ground like snow for about 4 hours. I used to like sucking them when I was a child :)
Last week we did have this in some parts of our country too. Lots of damage has be done to cars, houses/glasshouses and the crop on the fields. So sorry for the victems .
that is wonderful! Have not seen hail in a while. As children we called it snow, because that was the closest we ever saw snow. cool capture

I had to be very careful driving through it and in some places it was just like snow. Many huge trees came down in the storm and I had to make a detour as one had fallend across the road. @cjphoto should have collected a few and put them in the freezer
