these little pidgeons were sitting in the sun outside the hospital window where I have been visiting a very dear friend who is almost 98 and who's health is failing. Sadly I am going away travelling for four weeks with family who are visiting from the UK. I am praying that she stays till I come home again.
Hope she does survive until your return. Very sadly I was abroad at Fort William in Scotland when my mum passed away (I wasn't expecting it) and 7 years later I was on the way to Wales after two days in Henley (UK) when I received a call that my dad had passed away, too.
The pigeons ist be a nice distraction from the hospital bed. Yes, it will be sad & difficult to leave not knowing how your friend will be. Safe travels.
Lovely pigeons. Love the little tuft on top. Best wishes for your friend. I too visited a dear friend who is bed ridden after small strokes which went unnoticed. it is sad to see a dear friend changing with time. But life is like that and we are living longer lives which are active.
I have never seen this species of pigeons... they are really beautiful! A special prayer for your friend, for your mother in law and for you and your trip Chris...

thankyou all for your caring thoughts. I am hoping to hear some positive news tomorrow but I am even considering flying home at some stage before the major part of our trip. Although I also must spend time with my mother in law who is 96 and getting frail too. I am just trying to have faith that it will all work out.
