tedious paint job - renovations 4

the painters have started work on the new pergola that runs the full length of the back of our house. It will replace our old one which had almost all fallen down. This is the undercoat. It began to rain so they had to knock off for the day.

@happypat we have four very old imitation grape vines which used to cover the entire pergola but they have been cut back to their thick trunks and we are just going to train them along outside edge a bit like you see grapes growing along wires. It was painful to see the sawn off but I am sure they will soon sprout.
