I wonder how she damaged her wing

today I learned that 1 spot = male and 2 spots = female. This Cabbage White was flitting around one of my Lavender bushes. This was the best shot I got as unfortunately I didnt have time to stay around and watch her.

@gigiflower interesting isnt it. When I looked up "white butterfly with grey spots" that's what I learned. Isnt Google amazing. Now you will be able to watch them in your garden and know which is which

Looks like she made a narrow escape from a predator. Beautiful shot, Chris. I can't wait for my lavender to bloom.

@peggysirk my Lavender is a bit overgrown and needs a good trim but she was certainly enjoying the flowers

@cruiser I often chase them around the garden trying to see where they land so I can take a photo - now I will know whether to call them Mr or Mrs!

Great close up shot of the butterfle and flower. Her age do , it getting worse by time.
Most of the dunes are forbidden area`s in our country too.
