the grass everywhere is brown and crisp in our hot summers but the Galahs are always on the lookout for a tasty treat They usually eat seeds but do eat grubs too which in turn protects the grass roots from being destroyed by the grubs
I think Galahs are really pretty. They were in very large numbers when we were there in 1994. Is that still the case?

I'm so used to seeing birds of a duller color- so to me, this looks so crazy with those bright red heads! Good catch.
