Adelaide Town Hall Organ

Went to a concert in the Town Hall performed by the Kelemen Quartet from Budapest, Hungary. They were superb.
The Organ was installed in 1989 and is the largest mechanical action instrument to have been built in the U.K. for 100 years. It has 4,500 pipes which were made by hand. I also contains microchip technology.

Would love to..... That part of our world on our bucket list of travel, that's for sure. There is a huge 4 manual pipe organ in Mesa, Arizona that we get to as often as possible (Both of us have family over there!!) It's actually called "Organ Stop Pizza", and the organ is the entertainment. The two organists that play, changing off nights, are incredible.

What a beauty! I am amazed that the pipes are hand installed and have modern microchip technology too.

We have beautiful organs in some churches in Mumbai. I must visit to check them out again.

@bud1rich I am lucky that a friend of mine gets given free tickets every now and then to wonderful chamber music concerts. We were upstairs in the gallery and before everyone filled their seats I was able to stand up in the centre aisle and get this shot.
