Beside the creek in our valley we have a wonderful playing field, croquet court and three tennis courts together with a community centre which has space for children's playgroups, meetings and classes. It can be hired for parties and functions. We also have the free use of barbecue facilities and playgrounds.
How thoughtful of your council. We have parks with jogging tracks and jungle gyms for the kids but courts for racket games are only with expensive gym memberships. Our metro is dense with multistoreyed buildings so open spaces are pricey.
