Froth and Bubble

After a nice lot of rain during the night our little creek was flowing fast, clearing out all the sludge of the summer months and creating lots of froth. It brought to mind the poem by Australian poet Adam Lindsay Gordon
Life is mainly froth and bubble
two things stand like stone
kindness in another's trouble
courage in your own

@pittcj17 @carlt @anjalikoli @lilminimonka @kanelipulla @mrsbluesky @naomima @liuting Thankyou all for your lovely comments. the rain has eased off today so all the froth has gone but we are expecting hail and rain tomorrow with a temp of 16C which is cold for us in Autumn. when there is heaps of rain the creek swells and overflows in parts but does not threaten homes. When it is in full flow I will take more pics.
