Green and Gold

The golden wattle is Australia's national flower and captures the essence of Australia. It also displays our national colours of green and gold. Wattle trees are just beginning to flower here and there are many different types.
Love the colours against the dark background. Very nicely done

@carlt thankyou Carl. It was sheer luck. I had left my picture taking till I finished my volunteer shift at the library and by that time the sun had almost gone.

@deu49097 thankyou Dawn. I have a Canon EOS400D but the little Coolpix is what I have in my bag or pocket all the time so gets used more often. I dont have an Iphone and I can also conceal the Nikon in my hand for sneaky shots.
