Horner's Bridge

close to my home this bridge, which carries a lot of traffic, spans a small river. It was built in 1866 and before this people had to use a ford which posed problems in winter due to flooding. Masonery arch bridges was constructed for over 2000 years until the late 1800's when alternative materials were developed
