this little colony are clinging to an Almond tree. Some were up in the branches too

They wouldn't stay long if seen here. There are many Maltese, not me, who love to cook their meat. For them that is a delicacy.

These are amazing! I am envious of the photo! (and, I too, would purge them up on cornmeal and cook them up in luscious, buttery garlic - not rubbery at all!)
