cant see the partridge

these are very small hard pears about 1.1/2" long growing on an old tree across the road from our house. There were many orchards in this area before the houses were built.
They look very healthy and delicious. Beautiful capture.

thanks everyone for your lovely comments. I shall definitely keep my eye on these little beauties. I have never seen them grow this "big" before so maybe they will grow up into "real" pears. Nice to have them growing wild in the reserve we have across the street from our house.
