I found this beautiful feather whilst walking and when I came to this tree with such rugged bark I stuck the feather in and presto! there was my pic for the day :)

thankyou for your great compliments. There are many parrots in the trees at the moment because of all the blossom on the gum trees so you can often find some dropped feathers

@nanm thankyou Nancy. After checking on a couple of birds I believe it is the tail feather of a male Blue Winged Kookaburra!
