.....funny how the 'wildflowers' grow big and strong without any human input......don't know what this one is but it is tall and just bursting out with little yellow flowers......and it has several 'friends' dotted around the garden too.....
It is definitely mullein! At one point one was growing in the raised bed in my back yard and I let it stay. My dad would have been spinning in his grave. In a pasture or field he would have gone after it with a hoe. When my brother saw it, he thought I was crazy.
@mcsiegle haha.....my Grandad also.....his hoe was lethal......I think I will keep it for a while....if it starts taking over I shall have a judicious prune !!!
