While taking pictures of my garden flowers, I came across these tiny creatures. I wish I had a better macro lens to show them up better. Does anyone know if these are good or bad for the garden? I have a feeling they are bad. My first thought was that these might be aphids. However, the usual aphids in my garden are green, light green or white. Can anyone identify these?
Start with bad , if not , be sorry . But if there are so many it`s sure they like the flower and mostly that turns out bad for the flower. Great close up capture
They matched the Rosy Apple Aphid shot in my "bug book" and yes, they are bad for your plants and particularly for apple trees, causing fruit to grow gnarled and ripen early. You will want to treat this asap.
