There were major changes in the puddle today. The temperature climbed to the forties. The sun shone down. The ice melted on the northern edge of the puddle (where the sun shines down on the puddle almost all day long). The ice remained on the southern, eastern and western edges. There was water in the center of the puddle, but there was ice below the water. Groups of bubbles floated on the water. It was amazing to see this much of a change in one day.
