The puddle seems to have a life cycle of its very own. It also seems to have a distinctive daily look. Today the puddle reflected the branches of the nearby tree and the dreary gray sky. There was a cold, brisk, north wind, which made the reflections look like ripples. The puddle contained many fallen tree leaves. Other tree leaves floated on top of the muddy, shallow water.
