Like so many people this winter, my area has experienced more winter storms than usual. The local newspaper prints similar photos to show the aftermath of a snow storm. This made me think of how black and white is still often used for documentary photos. In his black and white digital phtography book, Michael Freeman says, "...even today black and white is accorded for its documentary 'correctness".
Reminds me to a saying: you can dry a ocean with a teaspoon a day.
We have a more than normal warmth winter this year. No snow yet.
Beautiful B+W capture of the man and his job.
