I visited the art department at the local community college today. I like this sculpture, but I usually see it from the art museum side of the building. The sculpture is located in a small courtyard. There are 12 "trees", with one tree for each month. Each tree is decorated differently. From my viewpoint, I did not see all of the trees, but I did see reflections and a view to the side doors to the building. I took pictures showing light/dark contrast today. I processed this photo to bring more contrast out. However, I did not have the time to work much on the processing. I hope to have time tomorrow to take more pictures and to work longer on post processing.
@pyrrhula Thanks! I will continue black and white for the rest of the month. I don't know when I will get back to the art museum. When I get back to the art museum, I will try to get a photo from the other side of the courtyard.
Interesting artwork!!! I would think all the glass , reflections and that side entrance to the building would make this a difficult shot. I think it came out great! Well done!
