Mundane Object Macro 3 by daisymiller

Mundane Object Macro 3

The hunt for a mundane object in my home continued today. I liked how this hair brush looked up close. However, when I placed the photo onto my computer screen, I noticed dust and distracting brown hair at the bottom of the brush bristles. Fortunately, the brown hair and dust look darker in the photo than they do in real live. Nevertheless, I will be adding a note about cleaning my hairbrush on the bottom of the things to spring clean. I won't mention the gray hair towards the top of the brush bristles.
I had not guessed what this was - Wondering about ice covered pine needles or something similar (and hoping it wasn't for your sake!). Clever thought for the mundane object.

The bristles look as if they are made of steel but I expect they are not! Just cleaned my brush the other day and took out all the hair, made it into a mustache and sat down next to my husband to see if he would notice!

I like it! It's as though you're in another world. Reminds me of that silly movie about shrinking the kids.

@maggiemae Thanks. Cute story about "your mustache". I shot this a few times to get this sharp of a focus and then sharpened the photo a little through processing.

@jle__ Thanks. You made me smile when you mentioned the movie about the kids who shrink (a movie I like). I like the macro shots where it looks like a different world.
