Does this look like a snowflake to you? No? Well the reason for that is this: I decided that I would try to take a macro shot of a snowflake, which is an item on my photo bucket list. It snowed this morning, but only very breifly. By the time I got my coat on, the snow storm had moved on. Even the snowflakes on the deck were gone! I tried to get out into the garden to take a shot of the snowflakes on the garden bed. That is when I found out that the deck was covered with ice, even though it did not look like it was ice covered. After slipping and sliding all over the deck, I decided that I would be a lot better off if I went back into the house.
I moved onto another photo bucket list item. I have taken photos of daffodils before, but I have never ever been satisfied with these photos. I wanted to shoot the daffodils in macro and from a different perspective to see what I could get. Three daffodils were in a vase on the kitchen counter. I liked how the lines in the dafffodil looked with the backglighting from the sun. However, it was still early morning during the time in which I could take pictures today. The sunlight was not really bright enough, so I enhanced this photo through processing. AND that is the story of why this is not a photo of a snowflake, even though it was supposed to be a photo of a snowflake!
@deu49097@denisedaly@jle__@milaniet@olivetreeann@archaeofrog Thanks for your comments. I don't like winter, but I really did want a chance to capture a macro shot of a snowflake. Hopefully, Spring is here to stay. I can wait until next winter to capture a snowflake.
