I have always wondered if I could get a shot of the designs inside a kaleidoscope. A kaleidoscope is what I call that child's toy that usually looks like a cylinder with a hole at each end. When you turn the kaleidoscope, the colored bits move and form symmetrical patterns. I was unable to capture the whole symmetrical pattern, but this is the part I captured in my old kaleidoscope. This is my favorite of the three kaleidoscopes I own. This kealiedoscope is so old that the plastic window you look in is cloudy and scratched. Therefore, the pattern seems a bit blurry even though I got my focus as crisp as I could. I like to get out that old kaliedoscope and look at all of the patterns that are created. AND now you know that even though I am retired, I am still a child at heart.
