April 2: Rainy Day Abstract1

April storms bring April rains.
April rains bring April floods.

A series of storms are bringing lots of rain, which is needed. However, the rain is bringing flooding, which is not needed. This was the view that greeted me this morning, when I looked out through the back window screen of my house. The back yard was partially flooded as heavy rain fell. Never fear, the flood water is almost gone from my yard this afternoon. The rivers are beginning to flood, but thank goodness I don't live by a river.

The only processing I did on this photo was to crop it a little and nudge the contrast a tiny bit. I copied this image and processed it to show the mood I felt when I looked out my window at the storm and the flood water this morning. The processed image is in my other album.

P.S. The grid lines are caused by how my camera saw the window screen.
Well done. Glad the water has gone down.

That's not a sight you want to see in the backyard! Glad it has receded some. Interesting abstract idea.

Interesting shot! Kind of looks like a close up of a painting on textured paper. Glad the water didn't cause any damage .

It's interesting how this looks like needlepoint mesh to me! Glad to hear the flooding has subsided.

We struggle all of the time with water,. And it comes from tree sides. Above by heavy rains , from the sea by storms and from the mountains by the rivers. Dry foot`s cost a lot of taxes.
Great abstract , nice colors
