May 7: Pink Day by daisymiller

May 7: Pink Day

The local college's greenhouse is trying out various ways to attract customers. Today, the greenhouse had a thirty percent off sale on any plants with pink or red flowers. I bought four impatiens. This is a macro shot of one of the blossoms on one of the plants.

P.S. The greenhouse is used as a learning tool for the horticulture students and as a money raiser for the horticulture club.
A wonderful Macro Daisy, love the colour...Fav

Super macro Daisy, I have real problems photographing deep pink or red flowers. Your month view is looking like a beautiful garden.

@paulaw Thank you for your comment. I used to have troubles with reds. I now hold my camera at a slight angle to the flower and that usually works. Now, to figure out how to photograph blue and purple flowers. My camera almost explodes with those colors.
