August 4: Our shadows touch others

Over the weekend, I started thinking about how each person impacts others. When I visualize this, I see a person's shadow stretching out and falling upon others. Traditionally, this is seen as a person trying to get out of the limelight of someone's shadow so people will notice her/him. I see casting ones shadow in a different way due to my experiences of visiting a nursing home each day. Once in a while, I see the essence of the younger, vibrant person within the nursing home resident. I think of how the person's "shadow" has impacted others throughout their life time. How much impact does one person have on others? How much to do others impact us? How far does an impact of a person reach? Do we become better people from the impacts others have on us?
Beautiful....in so many ways... +fav

@golder365mjsmith @milaniet @linnypinny @deu49097 @pyrrhula Thank you so much for all of your comments and for your favs. I almost did not post this photo. The idea came to me, but I never could get the photo I had in my mind. I decided to post this anyway, because the idea was so strong in my mind.
