During this light and shadows series, I have noticed how shadows grow and shrink and then grow again as the sun travels through the day. I caught this scene at noon when the shadows were short. I was grateful for the opportunity to catch these shadows. The day was overcast and shadows were hard to come by. The sun peeked through a tiny bit causing shadows to occur at noon.
P.S. This week has had great highs and lows. Today, I received the best news of the whole week. I was informed that my top 50 photo had been sold! This is the photo that had been selected into the top 50 pieces of artwork at the state fair fine art competition. I was so thrilled!
@olivetreeann Thanks! I am going to be throwing a few color shots into my "extra" album as I am going a bit crazy from all of my black and white. Yes, color does change during the day. I have studied how the light changes more during the day than I have studied the color changes. It will be interesting to study how the colors change.
