@milaniet@beryl@stownsend Thanks to all of you! This is a dianthus and yes, it is growing in my garden. Most of my shots are from my own back yard or neighborhood. Dianthus like cool weather. They come in a variety of colors. In my location, most of the Dianthus are white, red, pink (mostly a dark pink), and red & white on the same blossom.
@paulaw Thank you. It has really turned colder here. There was ice on the Dianthus yesterday. It was most likely the last new flower of the season. It is supposed to warm up some this week.
