The snow partially covered the plants. This is a close up of one of the dianthus plants. The dianthus blossom was featured in one of my last flower photos for 2015.
Nice close-up! We had more sleet and ice than snow but there was enough white to make it look wintery. Now it has warmed up and rained so a lot of it is gone. I'm not complaining though!
