The Store

This is the reason I have been struggling to keep up with my 365 project the last two weeks. One of the store owners invited members of the art association to display and sell their art at her store. My name was drawn first to have this opportunity. I had just finished selling my crafts at a two day craft show on March 13th when I found out the news. I hurriedly selected some photos to take to the store. My artist reception was held on Thursday, March 24th. I quickly snapped this shot before I picked up the photos I brought into the store just for the reception. Then, I hurried off to a band concert. I thought you would like to see the store and how the photos fit among some of the merchandise.

Here is the tour: The table is a card table that the store owner covered with a dark cloth for me. I then added the photos I brought in for the reception. In addition, I brought in three framed photos that were placed on the store's table, which is behind the card table. I framed the photo of the butterfly on the asters as to the store owner's request. She thought it would fit into the merchandise on this table. She also placed several of my framed photos on the wall. You can barely see a few of the wall photos in this shot. My framed photos will be on display (and sale) for 2 1/2 more weeks. Then, another artist will display her pastel paintings. I am thrilled to have this opportunity and experience. I have made some sales and this has excited the members of the art association. It is very difficult to sell any kind of art in my community. It is great to have such a nice store owner welcome our artwork into her store.
How fantastic! I would be spending a lot of time and money in this lovely shop!

@linnypinny Thanks! I can only afford things on sale in this shop. The owners drive to the city once a month or so and find fantastic items for the store.
