Usually, the blooming of the garden phlox does not last long. It might bloom for two weeks at the longest. This year, the garden phlox keeps on blooming. Here is the phlox among the Black Eyed Susans taken as part of my Black Eyed Susan series. This has been a gardening year in which most of the perennial flowers bloom for only a very short while. It is nice to have a flower that blooms for a long time this year.
Beautiful ! ,now I found that my phlox have not lasted very long this year and my Black eyed Susans look tired , at the end of the season I shall replant them with some nourishment in the soil -in the hope this will perk them up for next year !
