July 13: Garden Phlox

The garden phlox is in full bloom. It is struggling with the extreme heat and humidity and lack of rain, but it is still beautiful.

@olivetreeann Thank you. The phlox fades out with the sunlight during this extreme heat, humidity and dry conditions. However, the phlox seems to be hanging in there and keeps on blooming. I am grateful for the resiliency of the phlox.

Lovely shot Daisy . one of my favourite perennial plants , giving such a show of colour throughout the summer , but mine this year will be over before the summer is over - . (I find for some reason I no longer follow you - so now re-following !!)

@beryl Thank you for following me again. I kept on posting this year, but only recently have I had the time to comment on everyone's photos. Perhaps that is why you were not following me for a while. It has been one crazy, busy summer for me!
