July 16: Rose of Sharon

The Rose of Sharon has started to bloom. The blossoms are smaller than usual and the blossoms have curled petals. I wonder if the extreme heat and dry conditions have impacted the blossoms.

Ours are just starting, too. Will have to check the bush down the street to see if they are smaller than last year. Nicely composed.

This year I found several Sweet Williams fields. The kind of flower grows chanche every year.
