Minerva by daisymiller

Minerva

Initially, the blossoms of the Minerva amaryllis were very close together on top of the bloom stalk. As the blossoms faded and were removed, the remaining blossoms opened up more fully and moved to a lower position on the bloom stalk. It is interesting to watch the amaryllis bloom sequence. Very pretty

Really beautiful flowers. I must try them here - maybe be next season.

Interesting to see the first shot posted on 1/24 in comparison with this. Maybe your plant was just an overachiever who wanted two times the number of blooms. 😃

I had one bloom last winter. It produced leaves and I was hoping it would bloom again, but it's still just doing the leaves thing.
