Focused on work today. A lizard lured me outside to take his photo, but he was too fast for me. So I took this of the Cassia in full bloom. Even after I wacked back half of it yesterday. If you look closely, you will see the whitefly that is terrorizing my garden. Wait until his predators come in the mail soon. He will have eaten his last leaf!

@daisy Thanks, Kathryn. It is a vivid color. I ordered lady bugs and I am about to order some green lacewings and some wasp type insects to eat up these nasty bugs.
@lynnb It is a very cool plant, Lynn. The white fly is so nasty. Various kinds are eating up all kinds of plants here now. It is a big problem.
@drewhuy Always on the look out for a photo op! After I ordered the lady bugs, they are deciding now that might not be the answer but the other insects are. Gee, this has gotten complicated but better than soaking my butterfly garden with pesticides.
@danette I hadn't really thought of that. I've tried vegitable gardens a few times and have used SOME chemicals. Probably not a real good idea to hose your butterfly garden down with malathion..;-)
I had no idea you could order insects through the mail. Such a pretty flower - the yellow is so bright and stands out against the green and the blue of the sky.
@purdey Thanks for your input, Sharon. Yes, ordering insects! I just noticed there are three of those nasty bugs in my photo. Maybe they multipled since I posted it!
Pretty flower! Bugs, yech! I spotted two, haven't found the third yet. Can't believe you can order predator insects through the mail!! Oh the things I learn on 365. :)
@ariel817 Ah yes, the things we learn! The three are all in the upper third of the photo, all on leaves, two on the undersides. Thanks for the comments!
