Today is my birthday and the skies are gray and rainy. I have taken at least 25 photos today and I am not thrilled with any one of them!!! I was a bit of a slacker and spent time in the mall today, and lunch with my mom, so there hasn't been much time to get out there and get a stellar shot. I had hoped this one worked out. Alas, it is not sharp. I was parked in the road at a curve and some guy had the audacity to honk at me! Didn't he see I was doing something important??? I do love Herons and Ibises, though and I chose this shot over a standard garden photo.
At least there is a Hint of Green, as the word for today. :-)

@billsouth Thank you so much, Bill! The only "flaw" is that it isn't sharp since the shutter wasn't fast enough as they flew off. I would have LOVED to have this in sharp focus. I may have even hung it on the wall!

@clmiller Thanks, Caren! :-) I love this location, but there is literally no where to park. I chose a place I wouldn't get rear-ended and put on my hazards. Not a big deal to go around. I think his honk did send them flying. I only needed another 30 seconds to change my settings! In fact, I got another one right after that is clear, but the tree branch was too much in the way. I don't know how you get all your great bird shots!
