My loyal companion by danette

My loyal companion

She has been very good since I've been home. She is rarely far away and seems to understand!

So far so good with the recovery. I got a little scooter so I didn't have to deal with crutches. Thanks to the scooter and my husband, I was able to show a couple of houses today. Now if only they would make a decision!
That's a big bandage on down there! Dogs always know when to be gentle.

Hope your recovery goes well, looks like a good nurse to me

@lynnb Yes, and a big shoe that I can't take off for any reason. My husband had to take a picture of my toes so I could see they are pink.

@anzere03 Thank you, she is a good nurse for sure! I was thinking she should be a therapy dog!

Oh, those scooters look so cool. I wish I would had known of them when I have been in crutches. Glad you are feeling better.

@anazad511 They really didn't want me to leave with crutches. The nurse said they are too dangerous when you are non-weightbearing. The sccooter costs $100/month, not a bad deal to stay out of danger. Other option was a walker. At least this makes me look cool! I hope you are all recovered from yours!

Yes, Scooter Danny, it's great to have a caring K9...and a scooter...life is good! Guess you can't kick, can you?

@billsouth No kicking for sure! And it appears that Scooter Danny :-) has been sidelined today.

@danette Your battery run down?
January 5th, 2013
@billsouth The scooter is only for my leg, so it's foot operated like a kid's scooter. No, pain set in today. Not going anywhere.
