We are in Orlando, hooray! Here for a conference my husband attends each year. I tag along and (try) to get my taxes prepped. Last year, the conference Executive Director asked me to take some photos. Said he never has been successful getting photographs of this event. So, I ran around for 20 minutes and gave him about 100 shots. Apparently he liked them as he asked me to photograph this year. I didn't realize my foot wouldn't be completely healed. But, here I am. My physical therapist gave me a crutch to help with the distances of the hotel. Didn't take long to realize that would not work as it is quite a hike anywhere in this massive place. We rented a motorized scooter. Zoom, zoom! The guy who delivered it had the audicity to suggest I should start out in the "tortoise" mode. I think not! I am a "hare" or nothing. Zoom, zoom! :-) As stupid luck would have it, I left my battery charger at home. Fortunately my husband brought his camera and charger.
I am in love with all the detail of this hotel. It is about two years old. Fascinating, gorgeous light fixtures every where I turn. Architectural detail. Decorating. Phenomenal. Well, maybe not 5 star worthy, but I really love it here.
This photo was taken of the texture in the elevator. And, yes, of course I intended to capture the shape of a heart. :-) It's amazing what people see.
@anazad511 And the photo really gives no clue as to what it is. It is one of those texturized wall coverings and the light was shining down, so I shot up. To me, the photo looks like a light fixture.
