Uploading a few flower photos since Tuesday's word is flower/bud. I am behind in my duties. I finally felt up to taking down the Snow Village and have spent about 8 hours doing that already. Almost finished. If only we had more storage space!
Lovely composition. And I am surprised you were able to put it all away in 8 hours... I was guessing it was a year-round display! I have friends who photograph one of the buildings in their village each year that they use for they family Christmas card each year, photoshopping the members of the family into the shot... very fun card!
@billsouth I was working on it. The bloom actually wasn't completely open. I had taken a few shots of it partially open and then tore off a brown leaf from the stem, which opened the flower! I didn't intend to. I love the African Iris.

@calm I am not yet finished with the Vilage! I still have the electric to disassemble, wh ich will take another few hours to wrap up carefully. All in all, it takes considerably less time to take apart than put together. However, next year should be easier since we redesigned this year.
