@joemuli@kwind Worth the trip! I've been there a few times (years ago and twice in the last 3 years as a chaperone for middle school band). Lots to do and see there, and it's pleasant all around!
Danette, I stood in one spot for 30 minutes waiting for the dragon to breathe fire! I got the whole sequence! haha. Fun shot! Can't believe we were in the same place. Oh well, next time...
@darylo I was with my good friend from college and her daughter. No way would they have allowed me to stay put for 30 minutes. Even waiting the 5+ minutes seemed to slightly annoy the daughter! But, I had to get the flame! Only got 3 shots of it!
@skipt07 no, I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies. My friend is a huge fan. It was actually very enjoyable, even without knowing a thing! My favorite, though, was a "real" demonstration of selling a wand to a young boy who was in our small audience. The actor was wonderful. It is unbelievable how great a job Universal did with these areas of the park.
I really like the detail that you have captured! I know that I look at photography different, but I prefer this one over the one where the dragon is breathing fire.
