@soboy5 that's why I wanted to keep it. The bird was heavily shadowed.

A wonderful rescue! As skills improve, we can find treasure in our previous trash. Nicely done. The light and bokeh are lovely. What are you using to rescue this shot? LR or something else?

@rosiekerr I used LR to adjust shadows, highlights, blacks and whites then I think I used Perfect Effects 9 to finish it off. Also had to fix some noise in the shadows. I was surprised to see his colorful feathers! He was pretty much all black before.
